Hi, I'm Bianca!
On 20 May 2026 I became the youngest Australian to stand on the summit. Now I want to inspire everyone to chase their goals and go on adventures, big and small.

a bit about me
I'm Australian, from Melbourne, but I spent 8 years of my childhood in the French Alps, in a town called Annecy. Being surrounded by such beautiful alpine peaks inspired my dream of one day climbing in the Himalayas.
Since then I've climbed in the Andes, the Alps and the Himalayas, summited Manaslu and Ama Dablam, and broken 2 world records, including a Guinness World Record. The one climb I didn't summit taught me the most.
My Everest climb isn't just about pushing myself. It's about inspiring others to get outdoors and embrace discomfort.

From a knee injury on Ama Dablam to turning back on Everest in 2025 and reaching the summit in 2026, I talk honestly about big goals, setbacks, fear and the small steps that get you to the top.

Turning a huge, far-off dream into years of small, achievable steps.
Keeping going through more than 40 days on the mountain, exhaustion and altitude, one step at a time.
What not reaching the top taught me, and how I came back stronger.
Training, gear, logistics and safety: how careful preparation makes big risks manageable.
Staying calm, positive and in control when you're scared, cold and exhausted at 8,000 m.
Keynotes and team events on goal-setting, resilience, managing risk and performing under pressure.
Talks for primary and secondary students about dreaming big, bouncing back from failure and getting outdoors.
Clubs, retailers and adventure groups: expedition stories, training, gear and what it really takes to climb at 8,000 m.
from the mountain

Standing on the summit of Everest, the main thing I could think about was coming down. I had only reached halfway (even less than halfway actually!). I had so far to go, including the tricky rocks that start almost…

Sorry it’s taken me so long to write/finish this blog! I woke up from camp 4, along with Pemba and Ngudu. It was starting to get colder so I put all of my layers back on. We then had to make more water, and eat a shared…

This is definitely the second hardest day of the climb, after the summit day. That being said, last year it was my favourite climbing day! We climb from 7100m, to 8000m, which is a huge amount of elevation gain at such…
